One of the most popular and often the gold standard in replacing missing teeth is the provision of dental implants.

Dental Implants can be used to replace single teeth or multiple teeth. We use state of the art technology to include Guided Surgery – this means that we can plan the position of your dental implant precisely. Sometimes we can combine Implant Surgery with sedation and provide Tooth In A Day, Fixed Teeth In A Day or Allon4 treatments which are truly life changing and often avoids the need for dentures.

We offer implants in Cherrybank Dental Spa. We have expert dentists and surgeons who use state-of-the-art imaging equipment to assess your bone levels. From there, they will decide if you are a suitable candidate for implant placement.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants consist of two parts:

• A titanium post is implanted into the jawbone below the gum line
• A porcelain restoration or false tooth is attached to the top of the implant

They act as permanent teeth once they have been fitted.

When it comes to tooth replacement, dental implants are one of a number of options to consider, including:

• Dentures

The Dental Implant Process

Depending upon the overall plan, implants can be used to replace a single missing tooth, stabilise dentures, or transition from failing teeth to an implant-supported bridge.

Once the titanium post has healed to your jaw, it has the strength of a real tooth. It is virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Individual replacement teeth are screwed onto each implant, or a full arch of teeth is attached to the implants with the Allon4 or Fixed Teeth in a Day procedure.

Implants have a very high success rate over the long term.
