How Does the Inman Aligner™ Work?

They use lingual–labial spring technology to apply the pressure necessary to move the front teeth into their proper position. While a metal wire encased in clear acrylic runs along the front of the teeth, another wire runs behind the teeth.

With the aid of coil springs, the appliance is tightened periodically to adjust the amount of pressure applied to the teeth and guide them gently and gradually into place. As the front wire applies pressure to pull the teeth back, the back wire reverses the pressure to push them forward. The result is a straight, beautiful smile.

Unlike clear braces, which require dozens of plastic trays, a single, fully adjustable Inman Aligner™ is all you need to correct your smile. Available in several styles, including discreet clear plastic, which is a sensible alternative to clear braces for patients with crooked or crowded front teeth.
